Welbeck Farm Shop
The team at Welbeck Farm Shop are dedicated to providing the highest quality locally sourced food to a regular local customer base. Working with the estate's farmers, the source vegetables, dairy and livestock from the 15,000 acre estate, in addition to sourcing from the estate's resident food producers.
The shop itself holds an award-winning butchery that prides itself on whole carcass hanging of rare breed meats and wild game from the estate and surrounding Sherwood forest. Since opening in 2006, we have constantly sought to evolve and create new working relationships with local farmers, and connect with our customer base through informative and ethical product development and a shared passion for exceptional food.
They feature award-winning produce from the Welbeck estate, home to Stichelton cheese, Welbeck Bakehouse artisan breads, Welbeck Abbey Brewery real ales, Welbeck dairy raw milk.
Alongside resident producers, they source from many other local food champions such as Starkey’s – Nottinghamshire’s last word on the Bramley apple and Rosebud Preserves – superior South Yorkshire pickles and jams. Their resident cheese and dairy expert works closely with Neal’s Yard to present customers with exciting and diverse cheeses. Ask about our cheese wedding cakes!
In-house they produce a wide array of deli items in addition to cold cuts from meat and vegetarian pastries to fresh salads and sausage rolls. Fruit and vegetable displays offer seasonal produce from a trusted network of local growers.
Those wishing to stay a little longer can try one of the nearby countryside walks or might book onto courses at The School of Artisan Food or tours of Welbeck Abbey Brewery.
